By using Jellyfish you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Jellyfish is a macOS app providing an AI assistant and a social comment layer. AI features run on the user's own third-party AI subscription (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Kimi); obtaining those subscriptions is the user's responsibility.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple; you are responsible for your account's security.
You must be over 13 years old.
You may not impersonate others or create fake accounts.

3. Content and conduct

You are responsible for the comments you share. The following are prohibited:

Illegal content, hate speech, harassment, threats or violence
Spam, fraud, malicious links or advertising
Infringing others' intellectual property or privacy rights
Sexual exploitation or content harmful to children

We reserve the right to remove violating content and suspend/delete accounts.

Important: Jellyfish is only a hosting provider. We do not create, monitor or endorse user comments and are not obligated to review them before publication. Each comment is the sole legal responsibility of the user who posted it.

4. Liability limits for comments

User content is not ours. Comments are created by users; their views are not Jellyfish's and we do not warrant their accuracy, timeliness or legality.
No affiliation with sites. Comments create no connection, partnership or endorsement between the visited website's owner and Jellyfish. Comments are users' expressions, not the site's. Jellyfish is not liable for claims by site owners.
Third-party harm. If a comment harms a third party (defamation, libel, copyright infringement, etc.), liability rests with the posting user; Jellyfish is not a party.
Indemnity. If any claim, lawsuit or penalty arises against Jellyfish due to content you shared, you agree to indemnify us for all resulting damages, costs and legal fees.

5. Notice and takedown

If you believe a comment infringes your rights or is unlawful, notify us at [email protected]. We will review and remove content we deem necessary within a reasonable time. This mechanism fulfills our obligations as a hosting provider; removal does not imply prior knowledge of the content.

6. License to your content

You own the comments you share. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to display them to other users within Jellyfish. This license ends when you delete your comment.

7. Third-party AI services

Jellyfish runs your chosen AI provider's tool locally. That provider's terms and quotas apply; Jellyfish is not responsible for the accuracy of AI outputs or the provider's outages.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages. The service may not be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate your access if you violate these terms.
